..Ripley Co marriages show G.M. PATTERSON m/Mary HAM 23 Mar 1882 and General M.
PATTERSON m/Missouri WILLIAMS 29 Oct 1884. Birth records show an unnamed
female child born to Missouri & General Marion PATTERSON 6 Nov 1885 (father age
26, born in MO=precise match). Since G.M. & Mary nee HAM had children both
before & after this, could there have been a divorce/remarriage?? P-N obituary
of Missouri's mother (Sarah Jane WILLIAMS - buried /@/ Union Cem) lists her as
"Mrs. G.M. PATTERSON" in 1900. They were fm Williamson Co, TN; first settled

!..Jake's birthdate along with Ripley Co birth records of 1st & 4th child of Ben J & Roselee Patterson pretty well rule out his being from that family. Obviously he cannot be a child of Arthur. John F. Patterson resided in Reno, Ark & some of his children buried there, Jake very likely related but no place to "park" him.

of Aaron although one or both might be grandchildren. Tradition that both DPs
wives were closely related (cousins or aunt/niece). A remarried widow of a HART

!..Old enough to have marriage-age daughter in 1796; headed household with
one female on 1790C for Greenville Co, SC [must have been widower] beside
John PATTERSON & very near WOOD & NANCY families clearly connected with
the Washington Co, KY marriages of James daughter & of John's son George.
..Uncertain of relationship to ELIZ & RACHEL PATTERSON who married SAM & MAHLON WOOD (Jr) that same year in Washington Co. Assuming he was an uncle of GEORGE PATTERSON because not ident.as "father" (as he was on Avery WOOD/ Sarah PATTERSON marriage).
..A PRYOR PATTERSON born ca.1797 who m/Susannah O'NEAL 9/3/1823 in Washington Co, KY (ascribed to Geo.Patterson family by the AF researcher) may or may not fit into James' line but if pob was accurate he would be most likely parent/ grandparent.

Joe Patterson provides details via GenForum #7074 on those Ripley Co Pattersons who migrated from Wilson Co, TN during the 1850s.
